Benefiting PACC911

Every spring we host the Beauty to the Rescue fundraiser where our stylists perform haircuts, blowdrys, hair masques and braids for a minimum donation. Plus, local boutique vendors come together along with adoptable animals, a silent auction,  raffle prizes, music and more.

Our 24th annual Beauty to the Rescue raised $14,789

PACC911 brings together the many animal welfare organizations

Light and Bark Candle Co.

Light + Bark Candle Co has participated in this event for the past 5 years. They offer hand-poured premium soy candles made right here in Scottsdale AZ. Not only do their candles burn clean, look beautiful and smell good but they do good, too. Light + Bark donates a percentage of their proceeds to animal rescues. One of the many reasons we love them! Check them out at Beauty to the Rescue and at their newly expanded brick-and-mortar store in Old Town Scottsdale, where you can shop for candles and unique gift items as well as make your own candles. The perfect spot to host a party or gather with friends. Fur friends always welcome!

Gemgirl Jewelry

Gemgirl Jewelry has participated in Beauty to the Rescue for the past 7 years. Nancy Gallop is a local artist who creates handmade jewelry for everyone in your family including your pets. Her pieces are unique, meaningful and she gives back $1 from each item sold to the rescue community. You can shop Gemgirl’s at Beauty to the Rescue or inside our MAS Shop throughout the year.

Infinitely-U Integrative Energy Bodywork

We are excited to have Leah back for her second year at Beauty to the Rescue. Leah is a licensed massage therapist and will be providing 10-minute massages for a minimum donation at the event on a first come first serve basis. Leah has been in practice for a decade now in Tempe, AZ and has worked to create an environment that is welcoming and safe for her clients to deeply connect with themselves in a way that heals, transforms and opens creative pathways so clients can shift and evolve for themselves as an empowered being in their life. Her work's focus is all about integration of mind, body and spirit.  Through her own healing and educational journey, she has learned that all aspects of self-need to be seen, heard and expressed in order to grow and evolve.

What makes her unique is her ability to incorporate what is needed for any given session, Bodywork - massage techniques, movement, sound, somatic coaching and energy work such as Reiki, Craniosacral unwinding and Polarity Therapy. It is not "just a massage" she honors and holds space for the whole of the client's goals.  Come meet Leah at Beauty to the Rescue on March 3.

With your help we've raised $86,549 for PACC911 and contributed to the medical bills of over 200 critical care animals since 2019. Since the first Beauty to the Rescue in 2000 we have raised over $426,000 for the rescue community in Maricopa County
