We start by talking about what you're hoping for. For everyday styling, we ask about your routine and what kind of look you want. For special occasions, we discuss your outfit, the event, and how long you need the style to last. For bridal styling, we look at inspiration photos, your dress, any hair accessories, and the overall vibe of your wedding.
2. Preparing Your Foundatiion
Great styling starts with clean, prepped hair. For blowouts, we shampoo and condition (if you're adding that service). For updos and special occasion styles, we assess your hair texture and add products or prep as needed to ensure your style holds and looks polished.
3. Custom Styling
Our stylists use techniques tailored to your hair type and the look you're going for. For blowouts, that might mean creating volume at the roots, smoothing the ends, or adding movement with a round brush. For updos, we section, tease, pin, and style to create a look that's secure, stylish, and flattering from every angle.
4. Hot Tool Work & Details
If you've added iron work or braids, we add those details into your style. Curls, waves, or braids are woven in seamlessly to create dimension and texture. We use professional tools and techniques to ensure your style looks gorgeous for longer.
5. Finishing & Hold

This service is all about making your hair look put-together and giving you a confidence boost. Let us know if you have thick, dense hair so we can adjust timing.

How long does a blowout last?
With the right care, a professional blowout can last 3-5 days or longer, though it does depend on your hair type and what you’re doing with your time. The better you care for it, and the less you manipulate your hair, the longer it’ll last. – ask our stylists for more guidance on how to take care of your blowout to make it go the extra mile.
Should I wash my hair before coming in for an updo?
Updos hold better in hair that’s a day or two old – freshly washed hair can be slippery and harder to work with. If your hair is really dirty, give it a quick rinse the night before, but don’t wash it the morning of your appointment.
Do I need a trial for bridal hair?
We highly recommend it. A trial lets us create your look, make adjustments, and ensure you’re happy with everything before your wedding day. You’ll see how the style looks with your dress and veil, and you’ll have time to make changes if needed. It takes the stress out of the actual wedding day.
Can you come to my location for bridal styling?
We offer on-location bridal hair for your wedding day subject to availability – the more notice you give us, the more likely it is that we can accommodate your request. Call us to discuss details, timing, and pricing. We’ll need to know how many people need styling, where you’re getting ready, and what time you need to be finished.
How far in advance should I book for a special event?
For regular blowouts and styling, a week or two is usually fine. For special occasions and updos, we recommend booking 2-4 weeks in advance, especially if you’re particular about which stylist you want. For bridal services, book your trial 2-3 months before the wedding, and secure your wedding day styling at least 3-6 months out.
What if my hair doesn't hold curl or style well?
We’ll work with you. Some hair types need more product, different techniques, or extra prep to hold a style. During your appointment, we’ll figure out what works for your hair and give you tips for maintaining styles at home. If you have particularly difficult hair, let us know when you book so we can plan extra time.
Can I add styling to my color or cut appointment?
Absolutely. If you’re getting a haircut, a blow dry and style is included. If you’re getting color, you can add a blowout or styling service, just click “Add Another Service” when you’re booking. If you’re not sure what you need, give us a call and we’ll help you figure it out.
