Established in 1977, Mane Attraction Salon is a 2,400 square foot luxury hair salon located in the prestigious Biltmore area of Phoenix. We’ve been recognized as a Salon Today Top 200 salon for 17 consecutive years and are proud members of the Professional Beauty Association. Owned and operated by third-generation husband and wife duo Chris and Jenny Knudsen, our mission is always to elevate our team, our clients, our salon experience, our community, and the industry.

What truly sets Mane Attraction Salon apart is our commitment to education. Before any stylist goes on the floor to service guests, they graduate from our intensive 12–24 month internal training program taught by our own experienced educators.
This comprehensive program goes far beyond basic hairdressing skills. We teach our stylists to:
Deliver consistent, high-quality results with every service
Provide exceptional consultation and client communication
Master advanced dimensional color, blonding, hand-painted highlights, and modern color application methods
Build strong, loyal client relationships
Study skin tone, eye color, and existing color to select the most complementary color palettes and techniques
Analyze bone structure, hair type, & lifestyle to create customized haircuts that work with each client's unique features.
Even after graduating from our program, education doesn’t stop. We prioritize ongoing training to ensure every team member stays current with modern techniques, the latest methods, and industry innovations.

It is required that you are either in cosmetology school or have a cosmetology license. We are passionate about our team, the community and elevating the craft of hairdressing through education.

$16.00 – $19.00 per hour (Base plus tips with a Min $16/hr. guarantee)

Commission
Service commission (up to 50% commission)
Retail commission (up to 15%)
Earning potential ($40,000 – $100,000 +)
MAS averages 150-180 new clients a month and we distribute those based on a priority booking system (IE how good of a job are you doing hitting benchmarks in prebooking, client retention, retail, etc.)
